The one and only Tom Cruise. As always, when I made the decision to draw him, I sought a photo to capture the essence of his personality or public image; I chose this one because it features the classic edgy Tom Cruise stare.

I’m not one for action movies but I do love Rain Man and Top Gun Maverik. Regarding the latter which came out in 2022, I think the world particularly the US, needed a patriotic feel good blockbuster to bring audiences out from the comfort of their own homes and streaming devices back into the physical movie theaters. It could have been released sooner but it sounds like Cruise was willing to wait it out so that it could come out in theaters; it was well worth the wait because it was the most exciting, thrilling movie experience I’ve had in years!
