Bio

Hey again! Hope you've enjoyed the artwork and in case you couldn’t tell, I love to draw!

I was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I’ve been drawing as long as I can remember, mostly dogs and characters from my favorite childhood books, namely those of Bill Wallace. However, it wasn’t until I was twelve when I started drawing on a regular basis. I started out drawing the summer before seventh grade drawing Looney Tunes nearly every day. Middle school was when I first began researching animation and its history. I’ve read several books written by historians and employees of animation empires and have watched several documentaries on the making of beloved animated classics. I grew fascinated reading on and watching the process of my favorite characters coming to life from their original storyboards, design sheets, the famous faces performing their voices and mannerisms, to ultimately their presence on the big screen.

I am a graduate of the University of Tulsa having received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in Digital Media. My first real experience in creating my first animation was a short little film featuring two of my characters playing a simple game of hide-and-go seek. It was a challenge for me to learn new software that I had never experimented with before but ultimately it was very rewarding. Since then, I have made several other videos that include both a blending of live-action elements with 2D animation or stop-motion.

My goal is to work in the world of animation someday, the opportunity to create characters with individual backstories and personalities has long been a passion and dream of mine. I cannot picture myself in any other field. I have been immensely blessed by my school, family, and friends through their support and encouragement over the years. Through all this, my faith has been my stronghold. Through the high and low points of my education God has upheld me in it all, never letting me lose sight of His plan for me.
